If you're looking for a good burger, Fran's is an excellent place to stop. Once owned by Fran and Dan (of Dan's Hamburgers, natch), it is now just Fran's - and the happy carhop is more than willing to help out.

Re-discovering Austin
Another day, another chance to play with the features on my new camera. While playing around, I discovered that there are quite a few picturesque views here in Austin that I tend to take for granted. This blog is dedicated to my rediscovery of the things that make this city unique.
To start, this shot shows a glimpse of the state capitol building from South Congress Avenue. This week, I'll show off some of the signs of SoCo.
